Applications are invited for a Specialty Doctor in Colorectal / General Surgery / Endoscopy.

As the National Waiting Time Centre, we receive patient referrals from all over Scotland.  Our Phase 2 expansion, which will open in 2024, will result in development and growth to our service, making this an exciting time to join the team.

The general surgery service is focussed primarily on day case and colorectal surgery, which includes major open, robotic assisted and laparoscopic procedures.  The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to deliver independent endoscopy lists.

The post holder will support the service, providing valuable clinical experience.  This post will also provide the opportunity for professional development as preparation for further career progression in the specialty.

The applicant will hold full GMC registration and have wide experience working within anaesthesia. Please see job description for indicative job plan and further information.
