Job Advert

We are seeking experienced and motivated Register Nurses to join the nursing team within the Interventional Cardiology IP ward area. The successful candidate will  help drive ongoing improvement and provide high quality care to each patient requiring care within the Interventional Cardiology service, supporting the leadership of the Senior Charge Nurse and Charge Nurses.

The successful candidates will have proven skills to lead the nursing team in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse/Charge Nurses, assisting in the day to day delivery of high quality patient care within this demanding service.  The ability to work successfully within the multi-disciplinary team is essential, as well as demonstrable experience in being able to provide high quality care  to patients in the face of the day to day fluctuating service pressures, whilst role modelling their professional abilities to more junior members of the team. The post holders must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills across internal and external departmental and multi-disciplinary boundaries, displaying a positive, inclusive approach and an understanding of the overall service pressures faced by each of those teams.

You should be able to demonstrate your commitment to ongoing personal and professional development and the ability to act as a role model to others within the team, adapting to variable service demands, change and improvements.

This post has variable shift patterns 24/7 and may involve occasional requirements to work in other areas of Interventional Cardiology and other clinical areas in GJNH.
