The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital is the home of the West of Scotland Heart & Lung Centre and is also an expanding elective centre.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the existing Pharmacy Team at the Golden Jubilee. You will have a key role in supporting both the evolution and provision of pharmaceutical services to both in patients and out patients. Your role will involve rotating through various specialties focusing on near patient tasks such as medicines management and patient education and the main Dispensary.

You will help deliver an effective, efficient patient focused service ensuring all medicines are supplied in a timely manner.

The successful applicant will be involved in supporting, training and mentoring of other pharmacy staff to build on their development and career progression.

It is essential that you have the relevant qualifications and experience for this role and the ability to lead and motivate the team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to organise, prioritise and manage your workload are essential.

The successful applicant will participate in whole week working and public holidays. Full training will be provided in order to support the evolution of our technical services.
