We are seeking applicants for the role of Director of Medical Education at NHS GJ. This is an important medical leadership role for us, and an exciting time to take on the role, helping to build on existing achievements in medical education:
- Opportunities to increase the number of medical students coming through NHS GJ, and build a closer relationship with the medical school.
- We have increasing NTNs coming through NHS GJ and there is scope to increase that further.
- Developing clinical fellow roles to enhance trainee experience and attractiveness of the posts.
- There are also opportunities to work more closely with our Clinical Education department and with the NHS Scotland Academy.
The role attracts 2 PAs plus a management allowance, and is for three years in the first instance, with potential to be renewed – please discuss with your Clinical Director before applying.
