The board is seeking to employ 4x Co-ordinating Shift Supervisors who will play a key role in the provision of a comprehensive maintenance, repair and minor capital works service within the NHS Golden Jubilee estate and assist in the management of the Hospital and Hotel properties. The role will require supervision of employed staff while providing technical support to the Estates Department multi-skilled & core skilled staff, contractors and other employed persons in the completion of Estates maintenance & development works.    This will be based over a rotational shift pattern.

The successful candidate will have served a recognised apprenticeship and hold relevant City and Guilds or equivalent qualification.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge of all trade skills utilised within the Healthcare built environment as they will be required to manage a multi-disciplinary workforce.

Candidates are to note their preference (electrical/mechanical/plumbing) when filling in Assessment Question 1 of the application pack.

As the post holders will be working within a close knit team good interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
