Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology & General Medicine
NHS Lanarkshire - University Hospital Monklands
University Hospital Monklands (UHM) is looking for a Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Medicine to join its existing team of Consultants and wider multi-disciplinary team for a period of 6 months.
The Gastroenterology team at UHM provides a range of specialist services including outpatient clinics, elective endoscopy, emergency endoscopy & management of AUGIB patients which is carried out in the hospital’s well-supported Endoscopy Suite.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals who are keen to contribute to the ongoing development of Gastroenterology services at UHM. Sub-specialty clinical interests would be welcomed and supported.
It is an exciting time to join UHM with the location of our new hospital now identified. This will be Scotland’s first digital hospital which, through the use of available technologies, will enhance the patient journey and staff experience. Clinical staff are actively encouraged to contribute to the development of the clinical models to support the planning of this new hospital.
