We are seeking to appoint a Security Officer to work at NHS Golden Jubilee as part of a well-established team. You will carry out a full range of security duties as specified in the job description ensuring at all times that Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to for the safety of patients, staff and visitors.

Duties will include working within the control room operating CCTV, operating the card access system, undertaking regular patrols of the site, locking and unlocking duties, mail duties, dealing with car park issues, assisting in implementing smoke free policy, attending to incidents to de-escalate violence and aggression and many more.

No formal qualifications are necessary as the post holder will be given the necessary training to undertake the job, however they must have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships across a wide range of personnel. A working knowledge of security would be an advantage.

The working hours of the role are subject to a change in line with the Golden Jubilee's reduced working week. Hours to be confirmed will be 0700hrs until 1442hrs , working a 36hour week.
