The NHS Scotland Academy Skills and Simulation Centre (opened May 2024) delivers immersive, mixed‑fidelity training for health and social care professionals across Scotland. We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Skills, Simulation and Training Technician to support the day‑to‑day running of our state‑of‑the‑art Centre.

About the Role

You will help set up, operate, and maintain simulation equipment—including high‑fidelity manikins, AV systems and SMOTS—ensuring smooth delivery of skills and simulation sessions. You’ll work closely with educators and fellow technicians, support digital content production, manage stock and equipment, and contribute to a safe, organised simulation and training environment.

What We’re Looking For

- Technical, IT, AV or simulation experience (training provided).

- Strong organisational and teamwork skills.

- Confidence using digital tools and willingness to learn new technologies.

- A flexible, problem‑solving mindset.
