GP Locum to cover maternity leave

Salary/Banding: Negotiable
Hours: 5 sessions per week (negotiable)
Cowdenbeath Medical Practice are seeking a GP locum to join our team. This opportunity has arisen to cover maternity leave from July 2021 for 6-12 months. The commitment would ideally be 5 sessions per week but we can be flexible.
The practice was formed in 1975 and has a patient population of 11,300 covering an area from Halbeath to Lumphinnans, serving the Fife villages of Cowdenbeath, Crossgates, Lumphinnans, Kelty and Kingseat. Situated in the heart of Cowdenbeath the practice is easily accessible from the motorway and is within walking distance from CowdenbeathTrain Station.
We are an innovative and friendly training practice. We have 9 GP partners who are supported by an experienced nursing team and a very capable administrative team. We work alongside a wider clinical team of healthcare professionals who work between our purpose built premises and the clinic building next door.
Duties will include consultations with patients by telephone, NEAR ME video or Face to Face surgery consultations, DOCMAN, Prescriptions and on call session(s).
We appreciate that long term locum commitment may not suit you at this time therefore we are happy to consider shorter term cover.
