Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
Key tasks will include but are not restricted to;
Working in partnership with the NES NMAHP Healthcare Support Worker Team to deliver the outcomes of the Scottish Government Commission to develop and expand the NMAHP HCSW workforce at career levels 2 – 4 and supporting the HCSW related aspects in the Scottish Government Allied Health Professions Education and Workforce Policy Review Recommendations
Playing a key role in the promotion and implementation of the HCSW Development and Education Framework that supports the NMAHP HCSW workforce at career levels 2 – 4
Liaising with a range of partners from health, social care, independent and third sectors, education, including Scotland’s Colleges and Higher Education Institutions, and strategic leads in NHS Boards
Developing and maintaining effective links with key stakeholders in order to support core HCSW activity within the NMAHP Directorate
What you'll bring
These will include but are not restricted to;
Knowledge and experience of the development and education needs of the healthcare workforce at Career levels 2-4
Experience in designing and developing educational materials/resources
Expertise in project management
Ability to work in a team
Experience and understanding of group dynamics and organisational change processes
Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to include presentation, influencing, negotiation and complex report writing
Experience in collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
