SPECIALIST PAEDIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPIST – Musculoskeletal Service
BAND 6
Royal Hospital for Children
37.5 hours per week/permanent
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Paediatric Physiotherapists with relevant musculoskeletal experience to join our dynamic Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service. This post is based within Acute Physiotherapy, Women and Children’s’ Directorate. General Paediatric experience would also be desirable. You will carry a varied and diverse inpatient and outpatient caseload within the following specialties; Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Burns and Plastics, Haematology, Oncology, Hydrotherapy and Chronic Pain.
You will be a team player with previous paediatric experience (desirable) and an ability to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and their carers. These posts require close working relationship with Neurology, Respiratory and Community services. Experience of respiratory on- call/emergency work is desirable.
The Acute Services Division is committed to offering all staff the opportunity to develop clinical skills with a varied caseload, and also offer appraisal, supervision and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development.
This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland check.
Evening Respiratory on-call, weekend and public holiday duties will be required.
