This is a fantastic opportunity to develop in a leadership/management role within Occupational Therapy in NHS Grampian.  The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing Occupational Therapy Staff and resources across the Specialist Rehabilitation services within Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership. The post will be based at Woodend Hospital and will work in conjunction with the Operational Lead for community facing services and under the guidance and leadership of the Professional Lead for Occupational Therapy.

You should have demonstrable advanced clinical skills/knowledge from postgraduate courses/in service as evidenced in your Continued Professional Development portfolio. You will have a proven record of leading and effectively managing change, quality improvement/ service development and extensive professional & clinical experience at a senior level. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of best practice / clinical guidelines / standards within your area of practice.

Ongoing personal and professional development is essential to provide a quality service and is supported through CPD supervision, appraisals, internal and external training opportunities. This post provides the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills including MDT working, service development, audit and leadership experience.

You will have a keen interest in professional development and participate in local and national work streams.

It is essential that you possess a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and are HCPC registered.

Interviews will be held on 5 August 2024 in Woodend Hospital.
