We are seeking to recruit a Specialist Practitioner in District Nursing or a trainee second year SPDN student who is enthusiastic and motivated to the above post, who has a friendly, flexible approach to working to support a dynamic and person centred focused Community Nursing Service.  The post holder will be based in Forres Health and Care Centre but may at times integrate with other nursing teams within the locality of Moray West.  You will work within the Forres Neighbourhood Care Team (FNCT). In addition there will be opportunities to work within the District Nursing Team as required.  This variety will provide good learning and development opportunities. The post requires a wide range of clinical skills or evidence to support your ability to learn the requirements of the role. The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of a small team of HCSW’s and work collaboratively to promote independence for individuals who wish to remain living at home for as long as possible. They will also triage, assess and set up plans of care across FNCT and DN teams. 


It is a requirement of this post that you participate equally in the delivery of a 7 day service, shifts are from 8am – 6pm.  

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
