NHS Golden Jubilee Estates Department require a Senior Estates Manager (Electrical Bias), to manage the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital & the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.


Individuals will be professionally responsible for meeting the organisation’s key objectives, for the delivery of patient care by the provision of effective, efficient and safe operation & maintenance of estates services, systems and budgetary resource, in compliance with statutory requirements & mandatory NHS Healthcare standards & guidelines, for the day to day operational activities of the Estates Department, technical & managerial control of directly employed and specialist contract staff, and to manage delegated capital projects.


The post holder will be qualified to Degree level and be able to demonstrate equivalent practical experience through vocational qualifications as well as at least 3 years’ experience of managing in a complex health care environment. Ideally the post holder is required to be a chartered engineer member of a registered Engineering or Building Institute. The post holder will demonstrate good technical knowledge of complex building services and healthcare equipment & services.


Individuals must also demonstrate excellent managerial skills acquired through academic development, experience & training courses enabling post-holder to motivate, manage, direct & support staff & contractors.
