This is a six-month fixed-term role (or NHS secondment if appropriate), with continuation subject to a six-month review. Salary: Executive and Senior Manager Indicative Grade E, £104,895–£135,060 per annum, pro rata for part-time working.

Deputy Director – Legal, Planning & Compliance

As Deputy Director of Legal, Planning and Compliance you will take on a pivotal executive position within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, shaping how legal, regulatory and governance frameworks support safe, effective and sustainable healthcare delivery across the system.

Your Impact

In this role, you will:

• Lead at scale shaping and delivering Board-wide legal and regulatory strategy across a £4.6 billion organisation
• Influence nationally representing NHSGGC at senior forums and contributing to Scotland-wide approaches
• Drive meaningful change leading major improvement programmes that directly impact patient safety and public confidence
• Strengthen governance ensuring robust, transparent and effective systems that stand up to scrutiny
• Work at executive level partnering with Board members, Executive Directors and clinical leaders across the system
• Build capability developing high-performing teams and enhancing programme and portfolio maturity across the organisation
