The Post:
National Services Scotland (NSS) is seeking to appoint an Estates Manager for NHS Scotland Assure Facilities Services.
The candidate will be responsible for several internal facing facilities services, Estates, Projects, Property, Asset, and Capital management which contributes to corporate level decision making.
They will also be responsible for interpreting legislative and other requirements and responsible as NSS direct lead in Strategic Asset Management.
The Candidate:
The candidate will be expected to contribute to the long-term strategic planning and provision of all NSS Estates services that directly support all clinical and non-clinical services NSS supporting the delivery of organisational objectives. The candidate will provide formal technical leadership, guidance, and input to support effective delivery of the NSS capital programme as well as being accountable for all parts of the operational service provision and associated staff.
This role requires an accomplished leader who can engage, inspire, and motivate staff. They should be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of operational and strategic decision making and be able to rapidly develop effective stakeholder relationships.
Candidates must have current professional registration i.e. CIOB, RICS, IWFM.
Location and Working Pattern:
Although you will have a contractual base, there will be a requirement to travel to various locations across Scotland aligned to the post.
The post supports hybrid working.
The work pattern for the role is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
