Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow in Plastic Surgery (ST3 level) based at Ninewells Hospital & Medical School, Dundee.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain further experience in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery at registrar level.

The post is available from 3rd August 2022 for 12 months.

The successful candidate will join a team of seven other specialty registrars and nine Consultant Plastic Surgeons. Although this post is not formally recognised for training, the role will be broadly similar to that of the Specialty Registrar and offer opportunities across a broad spectrum of plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery. Particular department strengths include skin oncology, hand surgery and hand trauma, microsurgical breast reconstruction and a wide range of general plastic surgery.

Candidates need to have passed MRCS (or equivalent) and ideally have completed Core surgical training with a minimum 12 months of experience in Plastic and Hand surgery at Core Trainee or Registrar level equivalent.

Candidates must be GMC registered.
