Applications are invited for an enthusiastic individual to assist within the Nuclear Cardiology Department at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The post holder will undertake a number of roles assisting Technologists, Scientists, Admin and Medical Staff before, during and after Nuclear Cardiology examinations, including providing direct care to the patient.
The Nuclear Cardiology Department at Glasgow Royal Infirmary has two dedicated solid state gamma cameras, and provides a tertiary service to hospitals from Dumfries to the Western Isles covering the whole West of Scotland.
You will have an SQA Higher grade in a suitable subject (e.g. science) or SVQ3 in a suitable science/care subject (or equivalent knowledge and experience). You must have manual dexterity and ability to work well with patients. You must also have advanced keyboard skills and be IT literate. Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
