Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified speech and language therapists to join the Children’s SLT team working in community clinic, mainstream and specialist education provisions across Midlothian.

The successful applicant will join a team of therapists providing speech and language therapy for children within the Midlothian area, supporting community paediatric and complex ASN caseloads. You will be part of a supportive team with access to CPD and mentoring support. An interest in working with children with complex additional support needs including eating, drinking and swallowing needs would be welcome. 

The speech and language therapy service is innovative and supportive.  It is committed to the principles of clinical governance and clinical effectiveness to provide a high quality service focused on the child’s needs.  Support is provided for therapists in district based and clinically focused teams. All therapists have a personal development plan and are encouraged to extend their skills through a variety of CPD activities.
