An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team and take on this brand new advanced practice post.
The successful candidate will lead the radiography team, covering all aspect of stereotactic adaptive radiotherapy (SABR) service delivery for lung and oligometastatic disease in Aberdeen. The post will have responsibilities for clinical service delivery, as well as staff training, growing audit, research and education connected to SABR patients. Where indicated, there may involvement within the wider MDT and in peripheral clinics.
We’re looking for a clinically experienced and innovative thinker, able to successfully establish this role locally, whilst also connecting with colleagues across Scotland to develop a supportive SABR delivery network.
Our Department has:
- 1 Ethos (the first in Scotland)
- 2 Varian Truebeam Linacs
- Wide bore Phillips CT Simulator
- ARIA 16
Radiographer-led:
- breast simulation sessions
- Image review
- On-treatment Review Clinic
