The Bladder and Bowel Nurse Team (BBNT) is a small nurse led service, comprising of a small team of registered nurses who have specialised knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adult bladder and bowel dysfunction. The team play a vital role in not only assessing patients but providing advice and support to a wide range of health professionals, patients, family members and carers.

Within the Bladder and Bowel Nursing Team we have Healthcare Support Workers, who have specialised training to become Product Specialists. The Product Specialists contribute to the daily running of the Bladder and Bowel Nursing Team.

This post will support the nursing team by carrying out assessments for incontinence products without supervision, ensuring that patients  get the most appropriate product to meet their needs.
