Learning and Development Officer
About the Organisation:
Public Health Scotland is a new organisation, set up to improve the lives of people in Scotland, to reduce health inequalities that persist in many of our communities. It’s an exciting time to join the organisation, with PHS at the forefront of Scotland’s efforts to tackle Coronavirus and its implications across society.
The candidate:
We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who is capable of providing operational and professional support, guidance and coordination for the delivery of a range of public health learning and workforce development projects, including digital learning.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager you will actively contribute to the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of multiple digital learning projects and activities.
You will bring positivity, passion, energy and innovation to the role.
We are looking for someone who has/is:
• Resilient, flexible, open and adapts quickly
• Effective and confident analytical and communications skills
• Initiative and is effectively able to take forward and lead on projects with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders
• Proactive in developing their knowledge and skills in the use of learning technologies, authoring tools, VLE platforms
Location and working pattern:
Glasgow or Edinburgh, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Due to our national response to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic there will be an expectation for weekend and/or out of hours working.
