Ward I
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, highly motivated Registered Nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in Ward I Lorn & Island Hospital, Oban.
Ward I offers a friendly and supportive environment for applicants wishing to gain experience and skills in an acute Medical Ward with rehabilitation of all specialties and palliative care.
ILS training is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of continued professional development.
Ward I is a 14 bedded ward comprising of 14 acute general medical beds. Applications from newly qualified nurses are welcomed.
Lorn & Islands Hospital is a modern, well equipped hospital situated in Oban on the stunning west coast of Scotland. Ferry links can transport you easily to Mull or the more distant islands. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with countless leisure activities, good schools and a strong sense of community. Relocation package may be available.

Ward B
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, highly motivated Registerd Nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in Ward B, Lorn & Islands Rural General Hospital, Oban.
Ward B offers a friendly and supportive environment for applicants wishing to gain experience and skills in both an acute Medial Ward and a High Dependency Setting.
ILS/ALS training is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of continued professional development.
Ward B is a 18 bedded ward comprising of 14 acute general medical beds with a 4 bedded Medical/Surgical High Dependency Unit.
Applications from newly qualified nurses are welcomed.

Emergency Department
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, highly motivated Staff Nurses with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in Accident and Emergency , Lorn & Islands Rural General Hospital, Oban. The Accident and Emergency is a friendly and supportive unit with a very dynamic and experience team. There is training available throughout the year and other opportunities for development.
Candidate must be fully qualified for more than three years and practicing in medical or surgical - Accident and Emergency Experience is desirable
We currently have rotational posts for full time at 37.5 hours and part time at 23 hrs
