An exciting opportunity has arisen for Registered Nurses to join the Acute Medical Receiving team within the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley. The AMU is a 30 bedded ward. The successful candidates will become part of the acute nursing team who will support the assessment, planning and delivery of acute care for unwell medical patients referred directly from the RAH Emergency Department or the Vale of Leven Hospital. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to engage in a positive ward culture and support the clinical team and engage in programmes of care to enhance the patient journey and patient experience contributing towards delivery of positive outcomes using the Excellence in Care framework. You will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse and be expected to work on your own merit, be supported by your colleagues and remain engaged in productive team dynamics. The successful candidate should be innovative and be creative within their organisational role. You will be expected to work closely with the MDT to ensure a patient centred approach to care is achieved. This is a dynamic and fast paced environment with vast opportunity for knowledge and skills development and mentored by clinical staff who have quality improvement fellowship accreditation The successful candidate will gain experience in caring for acutely unwell medical patients presenting with a wide range of clinical conditions.
