Specialist CT/General Radiographer
Band 6 £34,386 - £42,050 including Distant Islands Allowance per annum
Full time 37.5 hours per week (Part time hours will be considered)

NHS Orkney has an exciting opportunity for a general and CT Radiographer to join our Radiology team.
Working autonomously, as part of a small team without on-site radiological support, you will need to be confident in assessing the quality of your images, recognising, and escalating urgent findings. You will undertake all radiographic duties including general radiography, CT, and on-call (approximately 1 in 6).

With a new hospital opened in 2019, including a state-of-the-art general Radiography rooms, CT, and ultrasound, this is an excellent time to join NHS Orkney as part of our team.
The successful candidate will hold a Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) Radiography with HCPC registration. You will be able to work unsupervised, independently, and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential in this post. Extensive experience in CT is not essential as further training in CT will be given, if required, on site.
