An exciting new role of Long Covid Practitioner has become available in NHS Grampian with the aim to work alongside colleagues and those with lived experience of the condition to understand current clinical journeys to develop resources and pathways to support those with Long Covid in Grampian. These roles will be offered initially as 12 month posts, suitable for either fixed term or secondment opportunities, with a possibility of being extended up to 2 years. Applications are invited from clinical colleagues from all backgrounds with the drive and enthusiasm to support the development and implementation of pathways, education and self-management resources as well as the delivery of training to improve both patient and professional experience of clinical care in Grampian.
This role presents a unique opportunity to work across sectors and services to shape and influence how clinical professionals work together to develop patient centred care that reflects local and national clinical strategy.
There are posts available in both adult and paediatrics, and we welcome applications from those interested in either full time or part time roles (please state your preference on your application). The team will be hosted in Aberdeen City H&SCP and work alongside NHS Grampian’s Planning Innovation and Programmes Directorate and the successful candidate will have access to the support and expertise of colleagues experienced in service planning and redesign, improvement methodology and programme management.
