The purpose of the job is to provide application support for key eHealth based systems within NHS Lanarkshire. Predominantly, but not solely, covering the following services:
- Microsoft 365 (M365) tenant/estate including all M365 business components used within the organisation both current and future including, but not limited to, key business office components such as:
- Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Collaboration tools components such as Teams and SharePoint
- Wider cloud based components such as One Drive and Azure cloud computing service.
- M365 related Clinical Diagnostic Service components
- M365 related Patient Management Service components
- M365 related Clinical Support Service components
The post holder will be responsible for day to day maintenance of eHealth systems, to trouble shoot technical problems and provide technical reports in respect of system performance to the direct line manager of the team. They will also provide advice and support to the users who use a service supported by eHealth and provide a point of contact for eHealth for service related matters.
The responsibilities of the role involve:
- Day-to-day end user support and hands on technical configuration of the Organisation’s M365 tenant environment including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Azure.
- Configuring M365 components and investigating/resolving M365 user related issues which may involve collaboration with Microsoft Service Partners (MSPs) and Scottish Government agencies.
- Assist with M365 adoption within the organisation.
- Working with other members of the team to provide user support and alongside other members of the wider Digital Transformation division on various IT projects.
- Keeping up to date with the M365 roadmap.
- Support and mentor junior members of the team
- Assist with the implementation & delivery of training for all user facing M365 components
- You may be called to assist with the work of teams within the wider Digital Transformation division.
