This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent Advanced Neurodevelopmental Nurse Practitioner with Independent prescribing.
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated registered nurse with an interest in neurodevelopmental conditions.
The Advanced Practitioner will work with the multidisciplinary team to direct the nursing contribution to the neurodevelopment pathway.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team you will be involved the assessment and diagnosis of suspected neurodevelopmental conditions.
You will use your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to explore appropriate treatment and care options where a diagnosis has been given. You will work as an autonomous prescriber where you will effectively manage a dedicated caseload.
You will work collaboratively alongside Community Child Health Doctors, Psychologists and AHP’S.
The role will involve the development of clinical practice to meet the needs of children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, undertake research and audit, lead service developments and support close partnerships with others including young people and their families, provider services and education providers.
The successful candidate will develop within the advanced practice pillars of practice and be able to work autonomously, whilst achieving departmental, directorate, regional and national competencies in advanced practice.
