Pharmacy Technician – Higher Level – Vaccine & Distribution Services
Band 5 (£26,104 - £32,915)
Full time – 37.5 hours
Responsible for the management of processes associated with the receipt and dispatch of Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines, including controlled drugs. Play a leading role in the provision of a pharmacy service involving storage and distribution of medicines throughout NHS Grampian.
Responsible for managing medicine stock within NHS Grampian, to ensure safe and cost-effective medicine use. To manage and resolve medicine issues within the service.
The post holder will participate in the supervision and training of technical and support staff in all aspects of the provision of medicines, vaccines and immunoglobulins.
Applications are invited from registered technicians with relevant post qualification experience. A dispensary checking technician qualification is required and if not already held, must be undertaken.
Must be able to participate in weekend and public holiday rota.
