This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Organisational Development (OD) Facilitator to join NHS Grampian’s People & Culture Directorate as we create a new centre of expertise focussed on the development of teams and individuals, organisational effectiveness and the wellbeing of colleagues. 

Working as part of a wider team, the post holder will play a key role in increasing overall organisational capacity and capability for change and in delivering NHS Grampian’s objectives and priorities as set out in our Plan for the Future. 

You will provide specialist OD advice and internal consultancy throughout the organisation.  This will include: leading and supporting activities in line with our ambitions for culture development and enhanced staff well-being through our Culture Matters and We Care Programmes; designing and delivering interventions that support individual, team and service development and effective service delivery; supporting the implementation of change; and provision of leadership development, coaching and mentoring.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have a further relevant post-graduate or professional qualification or equivalent experience.

If you also have:

  • a passion for enabling organisational culture development and enhancing staff well-being;
  • recent experience of working in a large complex organisation, with a proven record of achievement in a development role, including managing the processes of organisation change and development;
  • a good knowledge and understanding of the current health and social care agenda and experience of working with external partners;
  • a high level of interpersonal skills including: communication, coaching, facilitation, and influencing, and are comfortable working with complexity, ambiguity, conflict, resistance to change, and challenging behaviours;
  • have familiarity with contemporary thinking in the fields of organisational leadership, management, and personal development;
  • and a desire to continually develop and enhance your knowledge and skills and demonstrate determination and commitment to transformational change

This is a permanent post with standard working hours being 37.5 hours per week over Monday – Friday.  However, we welcome applications from those interested in alternative working patterns.
