Team Secretary, Health Improvement Team (Public Health Directorate)
Band 3 37.5 hours per week, permanent

Base: West House, Gartnavel Royal Hospital
The Health Improvement Team develop and deliver programmes and services to meet the health needs of the population. This includes development of health policy with Local Authority partners; running of smoking cessation services and training partner organisations such as workplaces to undertake health promotion.
Working within this team you will be responsible for the efficient delivery of administrative secretarial and support services required by the team, with tasks ranging from speaking to the public, diary management, maintaining manual and electronic filing systems, general correspondence, record keeping, and organisation of training events including collation of registration and organisation / distribution of resources.
You will have excellent IT Skills (MS Office packages inc word, excel, office 365/MS teams, outlook, powerpoint), experience of administration systems, proven organisational and communication skills and will be able to demonstrate both your ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. An appropriate secretarial/Administration qualification such as HNC in Business or Administration or equivalent secretarial /administration experience is required.
