Helensburgh and Lomond Community Nursing Team are seeking to recruit an experienced first level general nurse, with a Specialist District Nursing Qualification. The post holder will be responsible for caseload management, supervision and assessment of care need, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of personalised nursing care to patients. As a senior member of the team the post holder will be expected to provide clinical and managerial leadership within the nursing and multi agency team.
You should be able to demonstrate effective decision making and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively within a team and evidence of continuing professional development are also required for this post. A current driving licence and use of your own car is essential.
This position is also being offered to Community Staff Nurses with at least 2 years experience as a development opportunity subject to annex 21. The successful applicant will be supported to complete Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing in conjunction with a Scottish University placement and be expected to remain within NHS Highland for a 2 year period on completion.
