Advance your career as an Assistant Psychologist in Aberdeenshire. 

Two exciting opportunities have arisen, one full time and one half time (0.5 wte), to work as a member of the healthcare team in HMP & YOI Grampian.     

The post holders will contribute to the clinical psychology service and the psychological care of persons who are experiencing mental health problems specifically with Older Adults (1 wte post) and those with an Acquired Brain Injury (0.5 wte post).  The post holders will have the opportunity to contribute to the provision of psychological assessment and treatment with clinical supervision from a clinical psychologist with the specialist area and a clinical psychologist based in HMP & YOI Grampian.  The post holders will also have the opportunity to engage in audit and research activities. 

The post holders will have a good undergraduate degree in Psychology and have Graduate Basis for Registration of the BPS.  The post holders will also have had experience of working in Mental Health, Alcohol & Substance Misuse, Acquired Brain Injury and/or Older Adults.
