Ward 15-28 in Glasgow Royal Infirmary provides acute care for adult females with predominately rheumatology conditions and also general medicine. A Staff Nurse in this busy environment requires an interest in acute medical nursing, respiratory nursing care and the complexities of associated chronic disease. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workload efficiently, the skill to deliver a high standard of quality care and the ability to supervise others. This post is not currently suitable for a newly qualified nurse. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and having respiratory/medical nursing experience would be desirable.
