An opportunity has arisen within Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services for the position of Research and Care Governance Assistant. Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services (GADRS) is an integrated health and social care partner within Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership (Glasgow HSCP). Strategically supported by the Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP), it delivers treatment services to those individuals with problematic alcohol and drug misuse issues across Glasgow City. You will provide support to the GADRS Care Governance Committee and its subgroups with effective management and support activities, audit, research and monitoring reports to support and enable them to carry out Care Governance activities. You will take direction from the Clinical Governance Facilitator and will undertake, activity, as directed to assist with the implementation of any change to policy, guidelines, protocols, and procedural developments across the Alcohol and Drugs Services. You will also support the GG&C Alcohol and Drug Deaths Research Associate to report on alcohol and drug related deaths in GG&C and other relevant audits/reports as requested by the senior management of the GADRS. It is essential you are educated to Degree standard or have equivalent experience and knowledge of research and care governance.
