We are recruiting for a new quality assurance team to ensure all care home residents in Glasgow have full and comprehensive careplans in place with the aim of enhancing their care and quality of life. The team will work closely with the nursing team and ensure a quality assurance approach. This is an existing opportunity to join and lead a new team at the beginning of it's journey to support delivery of statutory responsibilities for care home residents and ensure every care home resident in Glasgow has an up- to-date care plan which reflects their needs. The service manager is accountable for the performance, resources and activity within their area of responsibility.
In addition, the service manager is responsible for providing managerial input to the HSCP/Locality strategic structure and to actively contribute to the overall planning and management of Adult and Older People services in Glasgow HSCP. As designated by the executive management team. As Service Manager you will be required to lead on the Quality Assurance agenda for all care home residents from both the provided and commissioned sector. The role includes responsibility for recruitment, appraisal, continuing professional development, performance, delegated budget, clinical and corporate governance, staff accommodation and IM&T. Minimum requirement for post is Health or Social Care diploma/degree level qualification, supplemented by additional training, management qualifications, or equivalent management and leadership experience. Desirable is a recognised management qualification and experience of joint working with partner agencies.
£58,584.62 - £67,526.72 - GCC Salary (35 hours)
£61,325 - £66,018 - NHS Salary (37.5 hours)
