An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Resuscitation Team Lead to join the newly amalgamated NHS Fife Resuscitation Services Team within Practice and Professional Development.
You will be a dynamic, supportive and progressive team lead supporting the NHS Fife Resuscitation department and be responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of the day-to-day workloads and activities of the band 6 Resuscitation Officers (ROs). You will be involved with the provision of appropriate levels of resuscitation training to clinical and non-clinical staff of all grades across NHS Fife and Health and Social Care Partnership, developing, reviewing and implementing organisational policies, procedures and protocols relating to all resuscitation matters, and the provision of clinical advice to medical and other clinical staff on the management of cardiac arrest, the deteriorating patient and other relevant clinical emergencies.
You will be a Registered health care professional; with extensive experience and an in-depth knowledge and of evidence-based practice in relation to both health and social care practice with an understanding of the strategic context of the NHS and current political influences
The post requires motivated individuals who have a demonstrable interest in education, resuscitation and cardiac arrest prevention. They should be able to work independently and flexibly, with excellent communication skills, and an eye for accuracy, and attention to detail. This role will suit someone looking to further expand their teaching skills and experiences.
You will be based within in the Resuscitation Department, Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy with the requirement to regularly travel between all sites within NHS Fife.
