We have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven Senior Accountant to work with the Chief Finance Officer and wider Senior Management Team within Falkirk Health & Social Care Partnership (Falkirk HSCP) to support delivery of services and to help support delivery and achievement of the strategic objectives of Falkirk Integration Joint Board’s (IJB) Strategic Plan.
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will work with finance colleagues from both Falkirk Council and NHS Forth Valley to deliver the financial and management accounting needs of Falkirk HSCP.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, advanced IT skills and be able to develop and maintain highly effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and across a wide range of disciplines.
You will deliver high quality, accurate and robust financial information to strict deadlines, will have strong analytical skills and thinking and you will be responsible for maintaining and developing robust systems to ensure the continued financial integrity of Falkirk HSCP.
You will be a CCAB or equivalent Qualified Accountant or have equivalent work experience preferably in an NHS or local government finance background.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to carry out a Disclosure Scotland check.
