NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.   ​​​​​​​

 This is a new role within the GP team at NES.  The role is for a fixed term until 31st March 2024 

The person will assist the Postgraduate GP Dean in planning for the expansion of GP training from August 2023.  They will be involved with Assistant GP Directors in developing innovative posts and ensuring the new model of GP training can commence in August 2023. 

The person will also be involved in other educational activities as required by the team such as the review of GP education.
