Could you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to improving the health of people living in Angus?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 specialist community dietitian to join a Tayside team. This post offers an excellent opportunity to deliver a wide range of community based nutritional care with an emphasis on nutrition support in community settings including GP practices, patients’ homes and care homes. The post is based in Carnoustie and will support the community Home Enterally Feeding service in Angus. The post holder will also be responsible for the supervision of dietetic support workers and a band 5 rotational dietitian. Excellent team working and communication skills are therefore essential in this role, as is the ability to work independently.
The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with other health and care colleagues, taking a pro-active approach to the clinical care of patients, service improvement and pathway development.
This post would ideally suit a band 6 dietitian with experience or an experienced band 5 ready to progress in a community setting.
