An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Dietitian to join one of our dynamic and friendly Tayside teams. The post offers an excellent opportunity to deliver a wide range of community based nutritional care with an emphasis on nutrition support in Perthshire community settings including GP practices, patients’ homes and care homes. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with other health and care colleagues, taking a pro-active approach to the clinical care of patients, service improvement, education and pathway development.
The post holder will also be responsible for the supervision of Dietetic Support Workers and/or a Band 5 Rotational Dietitian. Excellent team working and communication skills are therefore essential in this role, as is the ability to work independently.
