An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven individual to join our existing team as a Workforce Manager. You will work as a strategic member of the Senior Human Resources Team and will provide leadership on both strategic and operational HR issues within the Board.
Additionally, you will lead the provision of an effective HR service in line with the Board Annual Operational Plan, standards of good practice and support the implementation of the Board’s workforce strategy. You will be an excellent team player and will work closely with Senior Managers, Heads of Department, staff and trade union representatives across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be educated to masters’ degree level or equivalent experience, with substantial experience and evidence of working as a HR practitioner at a senior level within a large complex multi-unionised environment.
The successful candidate should possess the ability to demonstrate high level leadership, negotiation, influencing, problem solving and people management skills as well as the ability to work confidently with Directors, Managers and staff at all levels.
