An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the switchboard team as Switchboard Supervisor. The post holder will ensure an efficient and effective hospital switchboard service is provided to members of the public and staff 24/7, taking an active role in developing, monitoring and implementing departmental standards, procedures and staff training.
You should have experience of working in a busy customer-focused service, preferably in a call centre or switchboard environment. The ability to remain calm and focused when dealing with internal and external service users is essential.
The role will require the post holder to demonstrate strong supervisory skills and the ability to effectively motivate and support the switchboard team.
The post holder will be required to participate in an on-call rota, with appropriate pay enhancements.
The post will be based at Switchboard Services, Ninewells Hospital.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. This post includes participation in an out of hours on-call rota, with appropriate pay enhancements.
