Feel like a change from the hustle and bustle?  At the Lorn & Islands Hospital we require an Anaesthetic/Recovery Practitioner , with a UK recognised qualification.

Some experience within anaesthetic and recovery would be advantageous for this post although this is not essential as training could be arranged. This post also covers an on call rota for emergencies.

In our friendly theatre suite we have one theatre and one endoscopy room where our three general surgeons, one physician, one oral surgeon plus local dentists and a visiting ophthalmologist offer a varied programme of, cardio-version’s, general surgery, ophthalmology, colorectal, laparoscopic, oral and dental surgery. In addition our surgeons also provide a very busy endoscopy service. We have three anaesthetists who provide A&E cover, an offsite ECT service and X-Ray cover also a visiting anaesthetist who provides a monthly pain block session.

The patients who access our services are always very appreciative of the high quality of care and the personal attention they receive here.  You could help us to maintain and improve this service.
