The Post:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the multidisciplinary Donor Services Admin Office, see attached Job Description for full details of this role.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a reliable and dependable person who can work as part of a team and on their own initiative. The individual must have experience working within a similar health care environment at management or supervisory level and/ or have a background in managing a team, including staff rostering and data entry.
Post-holder must have a flexible attitude and must be able to prioritise all workload ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times. Post-holder must also be able to deal with many challenging and competing deadlines efficiently and have excellent organisational skills.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, motivated, flexible individuals keen to undertake this interesting post. We are seeking an individual with a customer focused approach, who is organised and adaptable. You must also possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to multitask and be able to work under pressure. A good to high working knowledge of Microsoft packages and good key board skills are essential. Previous experience with electronic rostering, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access or similar databases is desirable.
Location and Working Pattern:
The successful candidate will be based in one of three locations – Dundee Ninewells Hospital, Inverness Raigmore Hospital or Aberdeen Blood Donor Centre Foresterhill Road. This will include a working pattern of home and office working.
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
