The Post:
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Laboratories in Inverness and Aberdeen for 2 x BMS 2 positions
We are looking for enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills with responsibilities to supervise and manage the day-to-day activities, while supporting the Laboratory Manager to maintain and develop the Patient Services Laboratories. The posts will include an additional role e.g. Compliance, Operational.
Applicants for the post must have attained an Honours Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent, acceptable to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have retained registration with that body. A BMS2 should have further qualifications such as an MSc or significant demonstrable experience in a relevant field of work.
The Candidate:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists demonstrating continual professional development.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme/Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who have lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.

- 1x Post - Aberdeen Blood Transfusion Centre
Monday to Sunday - out of hours shifts requirement
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
