Following promotion within our team we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Dispensary team. This post will be based in our busy, newly automated Pharmacy Department at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.


This post is part time (21.25 hours) worked Mon to Fri 08:30 - 1245.​​​​​​


Candidates must have SQA National 4 qualifications or equivalent  in English, Maths and Science subjects as a minimum. The successful candidate will be IT literate, have the ability to work accurately and will be required to undertake a level 2 pharmacy services course to meet the General Pharmaceutical Councils minimum training requirements for the role.


Pharmacy experience is desirable  but this is not essential as full training would be given.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory  Induction standards for Healthcare Support workers in Scotland and to comply with the code of conduct throughout your employment.


You will be required to participate in departmental rotas for early/late opening, weekend working and public holidays.
