A great opportunity has arisen to work in our busy Radiography Department based at The Belford Hospital, Fort William.  Our friendly imaging team is committed to excellence and our standards are high.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Care Support Worker to join our small friendly team.  You will predominantly be based in Ultrasound providing support to our small team of Sonographers and chaperoning patients, adding to their clinical excellence in care and helping to maintain patient dignity and comfort throughout their journey in the Department. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Belford Hospital is a busy Rural General Hospital in Fort William covering a large geographical area. It has a 24 hour Emergency Department receiving many casualties from mountain trauma. There is a 17 bed CAU, 2 bed HDU and a 15 bed Rehabilitation ward. Broadford Hospital in Skye, is an enhanced Community Hospital, with a 24 hour Emergency Department and provides a range of acute care, with DR equipment. You may be expected to provide cover for both hospitals.
