We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to work in intermediate care in Aberdeenshire. The base will be Ellon HC or Turriff Communtiy Hospital (This can be discussed with successful candidate) The successful applicant will be expected to work across the Formartine area providing additional Band 7 support to that already in place. We would accept applications from candidates who would like a Secondment opportunity.


The post holder will be expected to provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment in intermediate care in the home setting as well as community hospital interventions. The post holder will supervise junior staff including Band 6, Band 5, support workers and students and be expected to work well in a multi- disciplinary and multi – agency environment. Supervision will be provided by the Physiotherapy Team Lead for Intermediate care for the area to which the successful applicant is appointed.
