A 12 month fixed-term secondment/developmental opportunity has arisen within the Promoting Attendance Team.
Promoting Attendance and the Management of Absence are key priority areas within NHS Ayrshire &
Arran. With a priority focus for this post within Acute Nursing – Ayr. You will work with managers and staff at all levels to affect change, improve attendance at work, ensure policy and process compliance and reduce the costs associated with sickness absence.
Report writing and data analysis will be a requirement of the post plus audit skills to ensure policy and process compliance. You will also be expected to deliver training and act in the capacity of coach or mentor to first line managers/supervisors.
You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or have an equivalent qualification/experience, possess a post graduate qualification or equivalent and have chartered CIPD membership or equivalent experience gained at a senior HR level. You will be able to evidence excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills as well as experience of successfully managing complex employee relations matters. Previous experience of working in the NHS or public sector would also be essential.
A car owner/driver is essential.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
